Hear Him

Last week most of the cafés/bars opened back up, but as missionaries we can only go out at night or in the morning for exercise.  Although I think that will change soon.  Also we can't have baptisms until further notice so our amigos were a little disappointed, but they understand and are still excited for that day whenever it is (It shouldn't be too much longer). This week we continued teaching some of the people we are working with and tried to find people through Facebook.  A while back I posted in some groups here in Pamplona. Wednesday I sent messages to all the people who liked my post.  Only one person responded but we were able to set up a cita with him.  So we will see.

This week not too much happened. We had so many lessons canceled. I think it is because more people are starting to go out and go back to work. Even though we didn't have a lot of lessons we were able to set a baptismal date with our amiga Geraldine for the 27 of June. On Wednesday we had a Facebook conference on how to use Facebook more effectively. On Thursday we had a shortened zone conference using zoom. Hermana Galli talked about the "Hear Him" talk given by President Russell M. Nelson during general conference, and how it is important right now that we understand how to hear the voice of the Lord in our lives.

Outside

These past couple of weeks we were able to teach some new people. We taught Anne and her boyfriend Joel who are both from Brasil. This was one of the best discussions since I have been out on my mission. (Is everyone from Brasil like this?  Former missionaries who went to Brasil please feel free to respond) We were also able to teach Geraldine who is a friend of someone in our ward. Also we were able to do some noche de hogars with some families in our ward this week. We talked about the Ven Sígueme lesson from this past week and how our actions and efforts can help others if we reach out to them.

The exciting news since I last wrote is that people in Spain who are over the age of 14 can go OUTSIDE to exercise for one hour from 6am-10am or from 8pm-11pm. So we have finally been able to get outside a few times this week.  This week we were able to teach a new amigo Herlinda. She is living with a member in our ward and is from Peru.  We are still teaching Arom and the Betancour family.  Hopefully they can all be baptized by the end of the month. Sorry for the short email not much else happened.  Enjoy the pics of Pamplona since I was finally able to see some of it.  If you notice there is nobody on the streets.

Tenga una buena semana!
