Two of our amigos that we are teaching got hurt this week.
Carlos did something to his shoulder and is currently out of town and Christian
broke his foot. So we weren't able to meet with them. We were however, invited to two peoples birthdays in our ward this
week. Birthdays here you just eat, sing and dance (no dancing for the
missionaries) and then eat some more.
We asked one of our English students, Jheisson if he was
interested in learning more about the church and he said yes. So we taught him
about the plan of salvation, and will be teaching him again this week.
This weekend we had stake conference Saturday night it was
at our building. My companion and I got called up to practice a ward
council. At the time I did not realize it was being broadcast to all the
other church buildings in the stake. Another missionary in the zone sent
me a note and said I looked good on camera. Fortunately, I didn't have to
say anything. Then on Sunday our ward took a bus to Bilbao for stake
conference there.

Funny story this week: A member Ronald kept saying
"Neuberger" over and over again (to remember my last name). I
thought his last name was Pesado because that is what the previous elders saved
it on my phone as. So I kept saying "Pesado" to him. Turns out that's
not his last name and it actually means "annoying", oops. You
got to love learning a new language.
One scripture I enjoyed reading this week was 2 Corinthians
9:7 "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give;
not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." This
made me think do we do things only because it's the right thing to do or
because we actually want to. Be a cheerful giver this week!
Tenga una buena semana!
Elder Neuberger
