Happy Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving feast

Happy Thanksgiving! Our preparation day got switched from Monday to Thursday so that our district could celebrate Thanksgiving. The two elders from Brazil were the most excited about Thanksgiving.  Which I thought was funny since it is an American holiday. Each companionship made something different for the meal.  We went bowling afterwards.

At the beginning of last week we had intercambios in Burgos. Elder Luiz and I taught the son of a menos activo and non member. After the lesson they fed us arepas. We have still been trying to visit a lot of menos activos and recent converts in our ward. Also we met with a family of six from Ecuador because the dad wanted to learn English. After we stayed and ate dinner with them and answered questions about our church. Hopefully we will start teaching them soon.  Darwin came to church again this past Sunday.  We are hoping he will follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized soon.

Today we are in Bilbao for interviews with the mission president.  Next week we will be going to Barcelona for a few days.  Six zones will be getting together for zone conference and Christmas celebration.

One scripture I have really liked this week is Ether 12:6; And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.

Tenga una buena semana!
