Rainbow

Spotted the end of the rainbow from my apartment this week. (see attached photo)  I would take getting out of quarantine over a pot of gold.  Hopefully, it is a sign of good things to come. Speaking of good things to come, we were able to teach Angelica again and set a baptismal date with her.

Last Tuesday we finally got to go to the store and it was super chaotic. They made us  wear gloves when we entered, walk through the store in a certain way, and on some aisles they only let a certain number of people at a time.

This week I taught Elder Diaz how to make homemade corndogs and funnel cake because he had never had one before (he is not the only one with cooking skills). He must have liked them because he had five corndogs.  I hadn't had a corndog in over nine months so I ate seven myself.  It was totally worth it.

On Sunday we had a few meetings with some of our amigos, kind of like church but through the phone.  Not quite as good as actually going to church, but it went well all things considered. One talk I really enjoyed this week was "Consider the Goodness and Greatness of God" by Elder Renlund https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2020/04/26renlund?lang=eng .  Even though we are living in this time of Corona Virus we can still see the blessings of God in our lives.

Tenga una buena semana!
