This week was the start of a new youth program in Spain
called Rise and Reach. It lasts three weeks and is split up into age groups by
the stakes. Each age group has two counselors and missionaries as well. We
teach twice a week about the lessons. We did an activity where we had them
write down 10 things they were grateful for from the Restoration.
Also we were able to teach a few new people English. Sunday
we went and taught Mercedes and Galo. After, they fed us baked fish wrapped in
banana tree leaves. Galo gave me a big one because he said I was skinny.
Everyone started unwrapping the leaves and it was different sections of the
fish. So with mine being the biggest I knew before I opened it that I would
have the fish head. At least they had already taken out the eyeball.
Yesterday was a busy day with lots of appointments. It is too bad everyday
can't be like that but I suppose that is life on the mission.
Tenga una buena semana!
