Change Is Good

Hola. This week we were able to meet with a lot of returning members including a lady from Bulgaria. We met with Juan Pablo after a youth activity and 3 other young men stayed to help us out in the lesson. We had a really good cita with our amiga Sofia and she shared her testimony of prayer with us and she also came to church this Sunday for the first time. She has been one of the people I have enjoyed teaching the most while here in Spain because I have seen how much God has changed her life in such a short amount of time. She has gone from not believing in God, to praying to him for answers and personal revelation and attending church. She is originally from Uruguay and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

On Wednesday we had intercambios with the Elche Elders. Our ward has started group English classes. With a beginner and intermediate class. Each class has about 10 people, so we have started helping out with those. Also we had to go to Benidorm this week to clear out the piso/apartment where the missionaries used to live. With missionaries finishing their missions and no new missionaries arriving because of Covid restrictions the mission is not renewing the leases in these areas. Next week is transfers. There is a chance I might be leaving Alicante, but I will just have to wait and see.

¡Tenga una buena semana!
