This week we had quite a few meetings. One of them was about working more with Facebook because we still cannot contact people in the street or go to members houses. This week I made a post about Jesus Christ on Facebook and posted in a lot of groups here in Alicante. I had one guy who was a Humanities professor from the United States (Dallas, TX) reach out to me about forming a multi-denominational/theological/ethical/philosophy/religion discussion group when he moves here in October. So that would be cool. The AP's were transporting a car down this way last Wednesday so while they were here we did exchanges for the day.
Last week I mentioned fasting in my email... and our amiga Haila the one who is from Brasil received an answer from the Book of Mormon after fasting. She was fasting on whether she should get baptized. After she finished her fast she opened the scriptures to a random spot which was Mosiah 18:10-11 which reads, "10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly, upon you? 11 And now when the people had heard these words, they clapped their hands for joy, and exclaimed: This is the desire of our hearts." So she is planning on getting baptized this week.
Tenga una buena semana!
