| Sagrat Cor church at Tibidabo |
This week was one of the best weeks! We were able to teach
four lessons with amigos and saw lots of miracles. This week we were able to
meet with Gissel and her sister Seydy again and one of the members Juanes came
to the lesson. Also we were able to teach Daniel as well this week. He
came to church this Sunday and of course one of the two speakers spoke in
Catalán so I don't think he understood much.
It turns out that Farzana the Pakistan lady (who I
translated for last week at church) has a nephew that lives with her named
Prince who is not a member and so we taught him as well. We received a
reference from a menos activos Ilda (mom) and Beatriz (daughter) and the
boyfriend of Beatriz is interested in learning about the church. He is actually
from Spain. (I know that shouldn't be surprising, but it seems like everyone we
work with is not from here). Also this week has been pretty crazy because it is
Carnaval here.
Another miracle this week was with the Juanasco
family. Their dad has been sick and in the hospital ever since I came to
Sabadell. We visit him every Sunday evening at the hospital. The oldest son in
the family who is 16 has been working and doing what he can to help the family
while his dad has been sick. This past week the son asked that we give
him a blessing because he has been overwhelmed with all of the added
responsibility with his dad being in the hospital. We were happy to do
this and he is such an amazing kid. As we were sitting in church on
Sunday in walks the Juanasco family with their dad! He was better and had
been released from the hospital.
2 Nephi 27:23, 'For behold, I am God; and I am a God of
miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today,
and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to
their faith.'
What miracles did you see in your life this week?
Tenga una buena semana!
