| People spacing themselves out |
Well in case you were wondering, I'm still here in
Spain. This week we completed our first whole week of quarantine. I
have heard we are going to be quarantined at least until April 12 now. I have
also heard of a lot of missions closing but our mission president really wants
to keep us here. Which is good because we taught A LOT. We were able to teach
around 10 new people! Which is crazy because in a normal week if we are lucky,
we teach around 1 new person. We have been teaching through phone calls
which is pretty great because we can mute our end of the conversation and
discuss things and they can't hear us. In other words we can answer questions
perfectly. A few people we taught had interest in our message and one guy
told us he wants to go on a mission!

Also this week we were told that we need to buy two more
weeks worth of food. However, we have to walk with bags in our hands, we can't
wear name tags, walk next to each other, or talk to each other. So on Saturday
Elder Diaz and I decided to go to a store which is a little far away so we
could be outside a little longer. On our way back I was walking ahead of him
and stopped to take a break on a corner he then caught up to me and took a
break too. Just as we were about to leave the police rolled up. And
started questioning us on why we were together. I didn't do any of the talking
because I didn't want them to know that I'm not from here and am not a
Spanish resident. They ended up letting us go without asking for anything or
giving us a fine. Today for preparation day we got the bags out like we were
going to get groceries and went for a walk :)
I have time to do lots of reading since we can't go
out. So if you have time to write an email, I would love to read it!
Tenga una buena semana!
