Hola! This week was great. We were able to teach a new amiga
named Evelin and her "Uncle Henry" and talk a lot about the Bible. We
were also able to set a baptismal date with our amiga Yesica for the 20 of
February. Also this week I was able to do an intercambio with one of my old
companions Elder Rappleyea. It was a lot of fun. We all went to the
restaurant where Mark, a member in our ward works and ate some great Chinese
food even though he's from the Philippines. On Friday we had to take an hermana
to the airport at 3:00 in the morning and later in the day we had a few
residency citas.
As for out of the ordinary events, my companion tagged a guy
on a moped at a light. Luckily no one one was injured and we only got a scratch
on our car. Then later on in the day someone else in the office backed into a
post. I guess I will now be the one doing all of the driving. We also had movie
night. We projected it from our balcony across to the building next door.
(see attached picture) Now if we could figure out how to have a good sound
system. We could have the entire complex watching with us. If anything else,
hopefully people saw Jesus Christ as they were walking by or looking out their
window and started putting him first in their lives.
¡Tenga una buena semana!
